COVID+DS: Causal inference for quantifying the efficacy of potential COVID medications and vaccines

Description

We will overview several important issues in causal inference methods for evaluating the comparative effectiveness and efficacy of potential COVID medications and vaccines. These issues cover both design and analysis of randomized trials, natural experiments, and observational studies. We will also discuss related ongoing research on COVID at Duke.

This session is part of the Duke+Data Science (+DS) program virtual Series on COVID-19 + Data Science.
