About the Workshop:
Sonia Delaunay was a multi-media abstract artist and key figure in the Parisian avant-garde. Alongside her husband, Robert Delaunay, she pioneered the movement Orphism, an offshoot of Cubism which used more rounded and circular shapes. We will explore color and shape to create a sense of depth and movement as you create your own Orphism inspired compositions!

She received her BA in Art Education in 2008 from North Carolina Central University with a concentration in Painting and Drawing.
