Description

Reserve your seat in this workshop by enrolling here. If the event is full, you will be added to the waitlist.

About the workshop:

In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll cover the basics of putting images on screens with photo emulsion, ink mixing, and how to effectively use a squeegee to put ink through the screen and print an image. We’ll focus on printing on paper, which is essentially the same process as printing on t-shirts. Everyone will get many chances to print, and you’ll have a deluxe, one-of-a-kind 2-color poster to take home!

About the instructor:

Robby Poore is a Chapel Hill based graphic designer, musician, and screen printer. He has a bachelor's degree in painting and printmaking from the University of New Mexico and currently works as a graphic designer at UNC-Chapel Hill. In his spare time, Robby teaches screen printing at Super G Print Lab and DukeCreate Workshops, and prints gig posters and cd covers. Robby's creative inspiration comes from music, pop culture, and mid 20th century suburban family life.
